We may fear many things in our life but a house fire is perhaps near the highest of the list. Unfortunately, it happened to the Butler family once they were sleeping in their range in Bradenton, Florida. On Tuesday, Citizenship Day at 2 AM, a fireplace broke out and quickly spread through the house . The alarm did sound, but it didn’t sound for long.
Fox 13 reported on what Leroy Butler, the homeowner had to say:
“It only lasted a brief ‘beep beep’ then it had been already ablaze . it had been gone.”
In a very short amount of your time , the blaze swept through the house, consuming everything in its sight. Since the alarm didn’t sound very long, the family continued to sleep.

That is where Zippy the superhero dog comes in. He realized that danger was occurring so he ran through the house, barking as loud as he could to let the family know that the hearth was burning.
Zippy was the sole member of the family that was missing. Leroy tried to travel back in to save lots of him but the hearth kept him from doing so.
Butler explained:
“The floor within the front room was all ablaze so there was nowhere for him to run out. albeit the smoke was this high. He was a brief Canis Minor . There was nowhere for him to travel .”
All Butler could do was await the hearth fighters to place out the fire. By the time they got Zippy out, it had been too late. He had died of smoke inhalation.

Not only is that the family now without their home, but they also lost all of the contents and their beloved dog.
Butler added:
“We adopted him as a pet, so we will only, I can only say he was an honest dog. He only did what he could.
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk< />
He would let me know if someone was outside. With the smoke, he still did his job. That’s only one thing and one person who I couldn’t save and one person I couldn’t get to.”
Rest in peace, Zippy
