Two sick and starving puppies were discovered by Good Samaritans after they were wandered onto a golf links in Florida.

Vero Beach animal control officer Bruce Dangerfield came to their rescue after Ted Donahue and Dee Dee Roberts alerted him to the puppies’ plight. He rushed the 5-month old female bulldog puppies to the Humane Society for immediate veterinary care.
The two poor pups aren't only starving, but their bodies are riddled with mange.
The moment they received the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVBIRC) they got a medicated bath and commenced treatment to assist them survive.

The shelter named them Laverne and Shirley and wrote on Facebook on Tuesday Immaculate Conception , 2015 that the 2 “seem to be slowly improving but it will take several months for them to completely recover.”
The Humane Society and therefore the City of Vero Beach local department sought the public’s help with locating the awful people liable for starving and neglecting them.

“As animal advocates, The Humane Society and Vero Beach local department will do everything possible to hunt justice for these animals,” Humane Society executive Chalmers Morse said.

It seems that one among the great Samaritans who found the 2 abandoned pups – Ted Donahue – adopted the pair.

“The Donahue family were so crazy with Laverne and Shirley, they decided to adopt the 2 girls,” the shelter wrote. “Now named Gilly and Daisy, here they're with Ted’s son TJ as he shares how they’ve been adjusting to their new life within the Donahue family.”
