Senior Dog Fighting For Life After Young Kid Bashes A Nail Into Her Skull

A dog named Rudy had the misfortune of getting a particularly unkind and abusive owner. His owner would deliberately starve him and beat him abreast of several occasions. After months of abuse and neglect, Rudy was rescued by the workers of “Houston Street Dogs”.

At the hospital, it had been found that Rudy had a broken hip from one among his previous assaults. He had worms and mange, and important eye, skin and ear infections also .

On top of that, Rudy wasn't doing great mentally and his chances of recovery weren’t very promising. The shelter workers knew they didn’t have the funds for Rudy’s treatment, in order that they made the heartbreaking call to place him on the euthanasia list.

However, Rudy’s fortunes changed when a sort woman walked into the shelter. Poor Rudy looked so haunted in his kennel that the lady immediately decided to become his foster mother. While she did manage to tug him off the kill-list, his survival was still an uphill task.

For subsequent few months, Rudy’s life was crammed with painful vet visits and a lot of love and care from his foster mom. As he slowly found the strength to face on his own, he began venturing out into the backyard to mingle together with his many foster siblings! But sadly, he wasn’t ready to playthanks to his broken hip.

By this point , the shelter managed to boost $6,300 for Rudy’s hip replacement surgery by sharing his story online. Rudy’s struggles tugged at people’s hearts and therefore the amount was put together pretty quickly!

Rudy has become a lively and fun-loving dog now because of his successful hip surgery. He’s getting to spend the remainder of his life together with his amazing foster mom and doggie siblings. We wish this spunky survivor all the happiness within the world!
