Dedicated Search And Rescue Dog Dies After Saving 7 People Trapped In Earthquake Rubble

Dayko the hero dog, who saved seven people from under the rubble after a huge earthquake in Ecuador, died within the week from the heatstroke. Dayko gave up the ghost , to put it more emotionally because he loved saving human lives quite he cherished his own.

The official explanation for death for Dayko was a “major coronary myocardial infarction and acute respiratory failure,” according to the Facebook page of Cuerpo De Bomberos Ibarra Ibarra. The brave dog was just four years old and had been with the fireside department for over three years.


A beautiful tribute to Dayko was posted on Facebook by the town of Ibarra department of local government , saying he was famous for his excellent sense of smell and charm” and thus the

Hundreds of firefighters and rescue staff attended Dayko’s funeral in conjunction with their rescue pups and gave their hero an accurate farewell.

Dayko’s family and friends said within the Facebook post on the fireside department: This 4-legged friend gave his life within the road of duty. many thanks Dayko for your courageous endeavor.

The Ibarra department of local government is functioning with several search dogs many |to avoid wasting"> to save lots of lots of those trapped under the debris of the 7.8-magnitude earthquake last Saturday, which left a minimum of 650 people dead. All humans and their rescue pups have paid Dayko their respects.
